Justice in the ‘Burbs: A Sabbath Meditation

[T]he move toward justice can be big. Overwhelming. At these times
we all have a tendency towards stasis. We're somewhat like the third
worker in the parable of the talents, the one who buried the treasure
rather than risk doing the wrong thing. We would rather think more,
study more, make sure we have the 'right' answer.
That would be the wrong response. More than anything else we
could emphasize, we want to be sure that you hear this message loud
and clear: do something. Seek justice actively.

– Will & Lisa Samson, Justice in the ‘Burbs: Being the Hands of Jesus Wherever You Live (pp. 78-79)
